I graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelors Degree in History/Social Studies Teacher Education in the Spring of 2012. With my degree and endorsements, I am certified to teach all social sciences and the AP levels for history, psychology, political science, economics, and geography. Besides graduating with University and Departmental honors, I was also named a Bone Scholar; the highest honor an undergraduate can receive at Illinois State University. If you would like to know more about my growth as a teacher that I gained from attending this University, I would encourage you to my Educational Philosophy page on this website.
Leisure Activities
At Wrigley Field
In my free time, I greatly enjoy playing sports, traveling, and furthering my knowledge about past events. I am avid fan of both the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears. I frequently attend games for both teams whenever I get the opportunity. Since traveling to England and Italy in 2010, I look forward to my next big adventure. I hope to one day visit Ireland, Norway, Japan, Russia, and Brazil. When not traveling or watching my favorite sports teams, you can often finding me reading books on U.S. history or playing a pick up game of soccer.
